With Hanukkah starting so early this year (December 2nd!), we are starting to get into the holiday spirit. Digging up our holiday decor, dreidels, and Hanukkah menorah, and remembering to stock up on these thin candles that burn so quickly!
It sometimes feels like a challenge to find a delightful Hanukkah gift that won't break the bank, but will have something unique to celebrate all 8 nights, so we decided to create something new.
This Hanukkah gift set solves the last minute scrambling! Every night, enjoy a new French sweet and celebrate the miracle of Hanukkah. This Hanukkah gift set includes our very favorite French desserts, and gives a nod to the traditional Hanukkah recipes such as donuts (sufganiyah), jelly and chocolate coins.
St Michel Sea Salt galettes are our most loved treats! And some of the most versatile cookies. For Hanukkah, get a tube of white and blue icing to decorate them and get into the holiday spirit!
These crispy, buttery cookies are also delicious with Bonne Maman jams or our French caramel spread.
Hanukkah would not be the same without jelly donuts (sufganiyot). In a wink to this quintessential holiday treat, the strawberry Barquettes are the perfect balance between a soft, but slightly crispy texture, and the delicious strawberry jam in the middle. Kids and adults alike have loved these cookies ever since the 1950s! Craving something citrusy? The classic Bonne Maman brands also make cookies! These Bonne Maman tartlets have a crispy and buttery crust filled with a subtly sweet lemon glaze, which are amazing with paired with a cup of tea.
Hanukkah would not be the same without chocolate. Alas, chocolate coins while fun to receive are usually not very tasty. These treats look and taste delicious!
The crispy chocolate crêpes are some of some of our newest treats, and already beloved by many. They are light and delicious, with a powerful chocolate punch in such a small bite.
As for the Michoko, these chocolate bonbons with a caramel heart are my mom's favorite treats, so I just had to include them into this gift assortment. :)
Madeleines are some of the most traditional French cookies. They are most similar to sponge cakes, but have are firmer in texture. They are tiny, and perfect to enjoy after a rich meal.
We also love having them with Bonne Maman jams for a weekend brunch, or an afternoon treat.
Hanukkah donuts are classic holiday desserts, but this year, swap your jelly with a dollop of Bonne Maman Caramel. We promise this new trick will become your go-to holiday recipe!
Bonne Maman caramel is also delicious spread on sea salt galettes, or eaten right out of the jar with a spoon... Give it a try; we won't tell.
