Goat Cheese & Black Olive Tapenade Panier

The days are now much shorter and we are spending more time indoors... While I am not a fan of the cold, I do enjoy having a bit more time at home and cooking simple, but delicious French dishes for dinner. This goat cheese panier is one of my favorite French dishes to make. I usually eat mine accompanied by a side salad, but you could also make mini ones, and serve them for your guests at your wine & cheese party.

Ingredients (for 4 people)
1 box of puff pastry (I get mine from Wholefoods)
4 oz of fresh goat cheese
4 tbsp of Black Olive Tapenade (Special 2 for $10 until Thurs, Nov 30th midnight)
Fresh ground paper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 400F. 

2. Cut the puff pastry into 4-inch squares.

3. Set 1 tbsp of black olive tapenade at the center of each square.

4. Add about 1 oz of fresh goat cheese and add fresh ground pepper to taste. 

5. Fold each corner towards the center & place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Bon appétit! The goat cheese & tapenade paniers are amazing with a side salad.
