Black Winter Truffle Oil

This delicate oil is made with a winter truffle from France called “Tuber Melanosprum” and a neutral sunflower base. These delicate truffles are some of the best in the market. They usually reach maturity by mid-December and are ready to be used fresh or transformed into oils to be used year-round. Maison Pebeyre Trufarome, the company behind this oil, is the oldest French family business specializing in truffles, having started their activity in 1897.

This truffle oil is so flavorful that you will only need a few drops to transform a meal from plain to heavenly. Use the oil to finish a dish of pasta, risotto, potatoes, or paired with a simple omelet. You can even create truffle oil vinaigrette by adding olive oil, lemon juice, and salt & pepper to dress up a side salad.

Unique, delicious

I tried this oil out of curiosity - and it is incomparable with the ones in our grocery stores. Loved its tangy, lemony, light flavor, and how it perfected the taste of my everyday salads. It's not a big bottle, but it's true that just a few drops are enough. Certainly worth it. A real treat when hosting friends, too.
